Supporting Clients in Complex Children Cases

Having firstly begun at Lux Family Law as a trainee solicitor in 2022, and having qualified as a solicitor in July 2024, my time here has been an incredible journey. I am passionate about my role in supporting our clients who are going through some of the most challenging times in their lives.

Since qualification, I have developed a speciality in child arrangements and supporting some of our most vulnerable clients (including those who are victims of domestic abuse). This is a passion that I have developed throughout my work experience/career over the last few years including my volunteering in a family legal clinic and my volunteering for the charity ‘Both Parents Matter Cymru’ throughout my undergraduate degree.

I am dedicated to helping our clients through these extremely trying times and providing our clients not only with legal advice, but the care they need. It is important to me that all clients feel that they are being supported and are being heard throughout the process. Knowing that I can make a positive difference, no matter how small, in our clients’ lives is what motivates me every day, and ultimately, one of the central reasons behind why I enjoy my role here at Lux.

I also assist and advise clients in other areas including divorce and finances. This involves assisting senior fee-earners on complex financial cases where it is essential to have an understanding on the intricate details involved. Again, I find it incredibly rewarding to be able to advise and support clients through these incredibly difficult times.

Working at Lux is like being part of a close-knit family. The supportive and collaborative environment allows not only team members to grow both personally and professionally, but it makes every day a rewarding experience.
